School Events

To Die For...Murder Mystery Events are ideal for secondary schools. Students take on character roles, sharpen their storytelling and critical thinking skills, and work together to solve the crime—seamlessly integrating with drama or English curricula.  The event will be run by Helena Tendall, a former Teacher and author of the murder mystery plots.
"We booked 'To Die For...Murder Mystery' for a Y7 English event in our school's Enrichment Week programme  and it was so successful we ran it again the following year.  The day required students to work collaboratively, to use their skills of inference and deduction, to scrutinise and analyse evidence and to meet tight time deadlines.  However, it also required students to be creative (dressing up), to physically venture beyond the classroom and to have fun.  The material was challenging - very few got the correct answer - and the plotlines were gripping with enough material to keep 60 students going for hours.  Teachers and students enjoyed the experience."  Helena Tingle, Head of English, Alcester Grammar School.

"It was a brilliant day.  Helena Tendall was fantastic.  We will definitely be doing it again."  Jane Tyler, Educational Visits Co-ordinator, De Lisle College.
