I have now worked out who killed Robin B’Stard and Jesse
McGrew, and why.
Robin B’Stard clearly wasn’t a very pleasant character and
had many enemies – some here today.
Dr Bobby Bodget, you appear to have had the means to kill
with your syringes full of Botox stacked up in your office. Why did you say that you were in your office
all afternoon and then backtrack saying you’d left to spend time in the
cupboard waiting for a clandestine meeting with Julie Small? You had the means and the opportunity; however,
I cannot find a motive for you to have murdered Robin B’Stard.
Herbert Croon, father to Robin B’Stard and Grandfather to
his estranged child, Storm. Did you
murder your son to stop him exposing you as a philanderer? How precious was your reputation to you?
Or…more importantly, how would Gladys have taken the betrayal, and could her
heart have coped?
Storm Shadow – were you desperate to inherit your negligent
father’s money so you could make your own album? Did you hate him enough to kill him?
Pip Poshington – your choice of employees was certainly
unusual – struck off doctors, fake image advisers, hippy masseurs an
incompetent Lifeguard. Are you just a
sucker for a sob story or is there something more sinister behind your choices?
Jude Namaak – is your image guru act real or just a façade
that hides are darker truth?
And now we come to you, Julie Small, sister of suicide
victim, Simon Large. You pretend to be a
wallflower, a quivering, shy receptionist who wouldn’t say boo to a goose. Not so, Julie. Your heart was full of hate for Robin B’Stard
who you hold totally responsible for your brother’s suicide. Simon threw himself off Slaybury Edge when
Robin B’Stard recalled a loan for his Wind Farm. Simon would be bankrupt and, for someone
already suffering from depression, this was the last straw. Yes, it was YOU who meticulously planned the
murder of Robin B’Stard.
How did you do it?
You wrote a note asking Dr Bobby Bodget to meet you in the stationery cupboard
- you had spent some time flirting with him over the last few weeks, so he
thought his luck was in! This gave your
accomplice time to dash into his room and grab a syringe full of Botox, run to
the Sauna and plunge it into Robin B’Stard’s heart. In their haste, your accomplice accidentally
opened the door of the Steam Room next door, confusing Herbert and Storm who
thought someone had left or entered the room.
Who would be wicked enough to commit such an act? Perhaps someone who had killed before? Yes, it was former inmate Jude Namaak whom
you met when you worked as a secretary at the Slaybury Institute for the
Criminally Insane.
Many years ago, Jude murdered his own parents. He was on the mend at the Institute and up
for parole until he took part in a drugs trial which re-triggered his
psychosis. He learned, through you, who
as secretary, had access to all inmates’ notes, that his regression was due to
Dr Bodget’s catastrophic drugs trial. You
explained your plan for your joint revenge to Jude who was absolutely up for
it. You wrote a false letter to the
Parole Board – allowing Jude to be released and you both came to work for Pip
Poshington. Your plan was to murder
Robin B’Stard on Gala Night and to frame Dr Bodget for the crime.
Unfortunately, earlier in the day, newspaper reporter, Jesse
McGrew recognised Jude from the trial 14 years ago, where Jude was found guilty
of parenticide. Jesse asked to meet Jude
at the Gazebo and both Julie and Jude met Jesse there. Jude held Jesse down, Julie suffocated Jesse
with the bubble wrapped envelope.
Jude Namaak and Julie Small, you are under arrest for the
murders of Robin B’Stard and Jesse McGrew.
